Nail Art Inspiration

When I finished university last year I let out a big sigh of relief
I finally had time for myself
I made a pact to spend some well earned time on me
During the last few months of uni my hair was always scraped back, my nail varnish constantly chipped and I usually had some thread or glue stuck to me!
So when I finished I vowed to make more of an effort to do my hair, make-up and nails
It just makes you feel sooo much better, especially after feeling messy for so many months
I kept it up for a while, but now I'm back to gross chipped nails
I paint them, the leave them until the last scrap of polish comes off
Not a good look!
I've been spotting all these amazing photos of nail art in magazines and all over the net
I really want to try some
How amazing are these?

Definately going to do this!

So sweet!

Awwww

I bet this took forever!!

Perfectly pink!

Have you tried any?
I'd love to see!
So there was a little vain and girly post from me
I'll get back to rambling on about cats!

I love the sun

Today was such a lovely, lazy Sunday!
We headed to the woods for a long walk (and some puppy spotting!)
We just walked, chatted and enjoyed the lovely weather
We ended up visiting a park that is near us, but we don't really go to anymore
I think it's because when we first moved here we'd always go there for walks and picnics and got a bit bored with it
I love that park though, it will always have a special place in my heart
When we first visited the estate agent and viewed our flat we were umming and ahhing about renting it, when we passed the park
We walked amongst the trees and sweet smelling flowers and saw a huge pond
It was full of baby ducks with their mummies swimming about together, it was beautiful
And that was it! We decided that day to rent the flat
Nearly 4 years later we are still here
With the addition one stroppy little black kitty!

Here are some photos from that special spot

I've posted photos of this tree before, but I just think it's amazing

I had to zoom in alot, so these photos aren't perfect
But how cute is this little guy?
I love Robins so much!

Hope you've had a good weekend full of love, laughter and fun!

Cat Crazy Saturday

Happy Crazy Cat Saturday!!!
I hope this weeks been good to you
And if not, I hope some of these cuties cheer you up!

This tattoo is pretty amazing!

Love this video!

This vintage painting is very sweet

I love the cute, innocent style of this Betsey Johnson ring
Reminds me of something I might of had when I was little

This ring is kitsch, but cute too
And maybe a little bit creepy?
But I like it!

Some of the cat houses on this site are crazy expensive
But, so fun too!
Here are a few of my favorites!

Well, that's it for this week
Hope you saw some things you liked
And maybe inspired you to get something special for your feline friends!

Perfect Pretty Pastels

I can't believe how much the weather is changing!
I was actually warm when I went for a walk today!
I'm working on a Spring/Summer wish list of all the things I (and Paul and I) hope to do
I love making lists!
Although I never really do anything for Easter I really love all the pastel shades in the shops right now
I went to the 99p shop the other day (love a bargain, love that place)
And they had lots of those different yellow mini chicks, I always want to buy them!
I think it's from my childhood
Every Easter my Gran would buy all the grandchildren a buttons chocolate egg
Then she'd glue a mini foil cake container filled with green tissue paper and one of those little chicks in to the top
Every year! I wish I had a photo!
I bought some of the the chicks last year and blue-tacked them all to my wall by my desk, as if they're marching up the wall
Sounds silly, but looks pretty cute!
They have new ones in the shop with little sunglasses on this year, so I think I'll probably get a pack! Haha!
Cute, cheap and cheerful!

Anyway, I've rambled on enough!
I just wanted to share some gorgeous photos I came across to get you in the mood for Spring!

Love these colours, makes me want to put pink in my hair again

This is the perfect kitchen!
Love it sooo much!
