Friday Favourites

We're having a little celebration tonight as we've signed the papers for the new flat!!
It's literally down the road from us
It's a little smaller but so bright and airy
And after living in a basement flat for nearly 7 years it makes a difference

I'm really looking forward to a fresh start, in a more modern, brighter flat
But I feel sad leaving this one
It's full of memories
It's the place we first started our little family (got Sisco)
I didn't realised how I'd feel
Also, as it's on a busy main road Sisco will have to be an indoor cat
And we feel so bad about that, like we're taking away her freedom
But letting her out is not something we'd chance
It's common in London to have indoor cats, but that doesn't make it any easier
We have to keep telling ourselves she has a good home and her life could have been very different if we hadn't adopted her
But the guilt's still there
Wow, this started out happy but turned into a bit of a Debbie downer post

Do you have an indoor cat?
Do they adapt easily?

I'm really looking forward to setting up and decorating my work area
My desk is next to a huge window so I'll have the sun on me all day
It's going to make such a difference

Ok onto this weeks faves

Have you seen the new Kitty donuts in Twinkie's shop?
