Catching up

Hi!

This year is flying by!

Last Friday we went to Brighton for my birthday

It was forecast thunderstorms, so we were a bit worried

But the weather was gorgeous!

We lay on the beach for ages and it was total bliss!

Dozing in the sun and hearing the waves crash onto the beach

A perfect day!

This is a toy I was working on, but I didn't like how it turned out

So Sisco claimed it

I didn't take a pic, but my mum wrapped my pressies in Hello Kitty paper!

In Brighton we went for lunch at Wai Kika Moo Kau

I spotted jojo's cakes 

They had so many vegan cakes that looked so good!

But we were too full

We shared a peanut tofu wrap and a breakfast

Yum!

The wrap was so fresh and perfect for a hot day

I'd definitely get it again

And you can't go wrong with a breakfast!

I just wish they did scrambled tofu

Heaven!

The next day I got a surprise from my mum

She told me before as she was excited about it!

haha

Now this was a surprise!

I've been online buds with Becky for ages

I actually did my first craft swap with her

I call her the 'party planner queen' as she plans the most amazing themed parties!

I love the fact she goes all out

I saw her amazing bead creations and commented on her pic and she said she'd make me one

I decided to send her something in return

So I sent her one of my plush foxes 

A few days before my birthday a huge cardboard envelope arrived

I didn't have a clue what it was

This is what was in it!

The hearts and dollars are ice cube trays

Seriously!

Isn't this amazing??

I'm going to hang it above my desk

I'd had my eye on this ring for a long time and it didn't disappoint!

It's so pretty and dainty

The seller was really lovely and got my ring out fast as I wanted it for my birthday

This next one is from Paul's parents

It's been in my Etsy favourites for ages

I need to take a pic of mine as it's slightly different

But this is the one from the shop

I'm going to sound like a cheese ball, but it's totally magical!

Mine has a little bit more purple in it and it's so unique!

The rest of the weekend was just spent relaxing
It was a really lovely birthday and I'm already planning my next trip to Brighton

Clairey Birthday Bonanza!

The reason for the name of the post is due to the fact I like to try and make my birthday last at least 3 days! haha!
Luckily, I have a boyfriend that puts up with me!
So, for my 30th we went to lovely Brighton
All the pics are from my phone, as dopey me forgot my camera!
I'd charged it and put it in the case ready aswell!
Oh well!

As soon as we stepped off the train the fresh, sea air hit me!

Lovely!

We've been quite a few times, so just decided to mooch around and enjoy the weather

Luckily the weather was gorgeous, despite all the bad forecasts

Ahh, the power of positive thought! :)

I know it may sound cheesy, but I truly feel alive when I'm near the sea

That's one thing I really miss about living in Wales (And family and friends of course-haha)

It was so hot, but the breeze was lovely!

Bliss!

I saw a lot of Fish & Chip shops had these sharks outside, bit strange!

I love the packaging, so cute!

I'd mentioned before that I wanted to get my main gifts from Etsy and I did!

As I've always said 'Dreams are necessary' I thought the cloud was quite fitting

I love them both so much and the sellers are lovely

We had to visit the amazing Snoopers Paradise flea market

I could spend hours in there

I really wanted this little guy

When I was younger I was totally OBSESSED with trolls

I loved this chair so much

We stopped for lunch at veggie restaurant Food for Friends

We got a starter and main special

It doesn't look to pretty, but the food was really good!

This beer is really yummy and refreshing

The day seemed to go so fast!

When I got home this was waiting for me!

The rest of the evening we just cuddled up on the couch, got a bit tipsy and watched the telly
I couldn't have asked for a lovelier day!
I think Sisco wanted some champagne!
It's so funny, both Paul's parents and my mum sent a box with my pressies in
And in both was a little package for Sisco with treats in
So spoilt!

Birthday Time!!

This Saturday we celebrated my birthday!
It's not until Tuesday, but we agreed the weekend is the best time
We had planned on a romantic picnic, but it rained
Nevermind, we had a picnic inside!

I got woken up to this on my wall!














So sweet!

And Paul drew me this lovely chubby chihuahua picture!
Isn't he lovely?


















I love chihuahua's, pugs and boston terriers
One day I hope to have all 3!

When we were having our picnic Paul put on a DVD and said it was a suprise........

Amazing!
I loved this ride in Universal studios. It was my 2nd favorite (Jaws 1st obviously!)
I was so sad when they replaced it, so this was so great to watch
Ahh, the music made me feel all emotional!

Later on we had frozen margaritas!
