Back in London

Firstly, here is a video of Sisco
She likes to cry to go outside
Then when you let her out she wants to come back in
She does this around 4 times an hour
Silly girl
In my last post  I mentioned I was off to Wales to help my mum as she was going to hospital for a procedure on her heart
She has a tired heart and it beats very erratically and fast
She's been on a lot of medication to slow it down, which has left her feeling awful
Recently she had a new doctor, who is amazing and changed her tablets around
The last few weeks she's been feeling really good
On Tuesday we went to the hospital to get the treatment
They sedate her and shock the heart to try and restore the normal rhythm
She couldn't drink or eat before the treatment and was dying for a cup of tea
The nurse did an E.C.G and asked mum if we should celebrate with a cup if tea?
We were both a bit confused
Then she told us mum's heart had gone back to normal
WHAT?!!
She didn't need the treatment, the new medication had done it's job
We were both speechless!
There are further treatments she has to have in 12 months as she can't stay on the medication for any longer than that
But right now, she's good!
What a unexpected surprise!
I think we were both in shock the rest of the day

It was lovely being in Wales
It was hot, but we had the lovely sea breeze
Bliss
I'd never move back to Wales
But I really miss the sea

Here are a few photos

This is Lucy
She is a very special girl and is deaf
She has absolutely no sense of danger, so has to be watched at all times when she is allowed out
She loves to sit here are watch the birds
This horse reminded me of a Unicorn
 Hi Louie!
I had to zoom in a lot to get this
It's a baby feeding from it's mummy
So cute!
This is the field opposite my mums house
It was lovely to just sit and watch the cows and sheep
 A heart shaped strawberry!
Maybe a sign?
This is my sisters dog, Snoopy
He's living with my mum for now
He followed me around constantly
He wanted loves all the time
 Fancy paws!
 Old lady Jessica May
She's the sweetest dog ever!
She's gone slightly grey over the last few years
We went for a day out to Conwy
So beautiful
If you ever see these, get them!
They are so good!
 Little Chris (she's a girl)
Sitting in a bush
I had a lovely few days
But I'm happy to be home with my bambinos!

Hello! It's Me

Well, what a helluva couple of weeks
As I mentioned in my last post, my mum was in hospital and I was going to Wales to take care of her
Then Paul and I got a really bad viral chest infection - not good!
I felt so crappy not being there for my Mum
The whole week was spent dosing myself and taking antibiotics
I really don't like to take them and haven't in years
But this time I had to as I needed to be in Wales
Finally got mostly better and made my way to Wales
Saddest goodbye ever!
Apart from the 1st year I moved to London and lived in halls, Paul and I hadn't been away from each other more than 2 nights
Sob-fest at the station!
He was very good and sent me lots of photos of Sisco and held the phone so I could talk to her (c'mon, I bet you do it too)
I won't go into it, but Mum has to wait until mid Jan to had further treatment and the medication is making her feel pretty lousy
But I am so grateful she went to the hospital when she did (Thanks Linda)
It doesn't bear to think about
Mum was a good patient and I'm happy to say I was a pretty good nurse!
We had some quality time and it was a really nice thing to come from such a horrible situation
About 3 days after I got back to London I got ill again
Really ill
The doctor said she thought the viral infection has spread to my sinuses
Yay!
So more antibiotics
I'm a really bad patient and Paul kept insisting I rest, but I had a lot of orders I needed to sew up
In the end I took his advice!
He got me some ice cream, some crappy magazines and I watched Friends (Never get tired of that show)
I know, what a cliche!
But today is the first day I don't feel (and look) like something off The Walking Dead
So grateful
And so looking forward to spending time at Christmas with loved ones

p.s. Here are a few cute photos from my Mums

Christmas in Wales

Finally, I'm posting the last of my Christmas photos!
I haven't taken any of my gifts, but I got so many great things
You realise you're getting old when you received 'useful' things, but I was really happy
Lots of bath/body/hair stuff, candles etc
Also from Paul's mum & dad a set of crochet needles, 'how to' DVD & wool!
No excuses now!
Also, they got me the MOST perfect necklace!
I've tried photographing it but my photos just don't do it justice
But its a raw amethyst dipped in silver
It's just amazing!

Ok, onto the photos!
These are from Conwy
It's a little town inside of castle walls

I love this area as it's near by the flat I rented before I moved to London
It was near the beach and lovely to walk to just as the sun was setting

Hope you liked them!
Have a great weekend!

Christmas in Wales - The Pets

I realised I hardly took any photos this Christmas
We were only there for a short time and it seemed to go by so fast
My sister has 2 whippets, Charlie & Snoopy
They're absolutely crazy
I only managed to get Charlie in the shot and Snoopy was blurred

This is my mums dog, Jessica May Heather Williams (Yes, that's her real name)
She's a bit of an older lady and is so cute!

I don't have a favorite out of my mums cats, but this is the only photo I took of little Lucy
She's a special girl, as she's deaf and quite anxious
She loves waking you up by getting really close to your face and purring very loud

And finally
The poser 'Little' Chris
She's always after attention, ready to put on a show!

Just chillin'

I can't believe I came away with so little cat photos, I usually take at least 50!
Aww, I really want to cuddle them now!
