♥ Monday Etsy Loves ♥ Wrap Up Warm ♥

WOW!
It is seriously freezing in London today
I just wanted to leave my pjs on and stay inside
Lots of hot tea was drank and the heating is on full
But....The Redcups are baaaack!
I love Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes!!!
Yum!

Sisco has been a little pain in the bum today, scratching to go out every 10 minutes.
Then when we let her out, she looks outside and then back at us as if to say 'Oh......Didn't know it was that cold' and runs back in
1st few times it was cute, but I think it's happened about 15 times today
Indecisive little lady

Trip to Brighton

On Wednesday we went on an overnight trip to Brighton
We were lucky as although it was quite dull, it wasn't too cold or raining!

When we stepped onto the seafront the wind was freezing!
So no pier for us!

First we visited the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery
I really like the museum, we've been once before
I especially like the
Fashion and Style Gallery and the Performance Gallery
There are some amazing things there!

These illustrations were so intricate and amazing to see close up

There was also a large room full of vintage Brighton memorabilia, which was quite interesting
There were lots of old postcards, posters and photos

I love fortune telling machines
Whenever I see one I have to get my fortune!

I love the old furniture display
I didn't get many pictures, but they have some amazing retro furniture.
I would love so much of it!
These were pretty sweet!

We just wandered around most of the day
Had some yummy food and tasted some proper cider!
Also, we HAD to get one of these, even though it was cold!
(I didn't take a photo, so this is off their site)

These are so so good!!!
If you get a chance, try one!
Yum!

This was painted down a side street
So pretty!

And I had to visit my favorite vintage shop!

My nana used to have one just like this!

I really want that cute (bear) cookie container!
Maybe next time!

This was in the window of a very pink ice cream shop

I didn't take a lot of pictures during this trip as it was quite dull out.
But It was lovely to get some nice fresh sea air!
But to be honest we were happy to get back home and see our little Sisco!

Sanrio 50th Anniversary Celebration

Love this!
Would SO love to go!
Can't wait to one day go to Japan LA and immerse myself in pink loveliness!
My favorites are Buff Monster, Gary Baseman's and Nouar's.

Chewing Gum Art on the streets of London

When I first moved to North London I'd see all these little flashes of colour on the floor
With closer inspection, I realised it was painted chewing gum!

After a while I'd see Ben Wilson, the man creates it.
What a really lovely idea, turning nothing into a smile inducing little piece of artwork
Everytime I see it, it brightens up my day
Here is a link to a recent interview with him

Here are links to flickr sets full of his art

Hooray Hooray! We're off on Holiday!

Well, for the night anyway!
We're off to Brighton for a little overnight stay
I've only been when it's all nice and summery
So hopefully it won't be too cold!
Can't wait to be by the sea, eat some yummy food and visit some cute vintage shops!
But I am going to miss this little menace!
I have already been instructed to bring back treats!

Will post lots of pictures when I get back
