Hi!

As I've mentioned, I've really cut back on blogging due to problems with my eye

I wanted to keep my 'Debbie downer' side away from my blog

Well, finally I have some answers!

I do have the condition that they told me at hospital

Even though I've been told by different people it can and can't cause blurriness

I spoke to a Dr that said it definitely can (he's an expert on it)

Also, in the time I got the condition my eyesight has deteriorated quite a bit in that eye

What am crappy coincidence huh?

I think if I'd been told that from the beginning I'd feel pretty upset

But after being told SO MANY different things over the last 5 months I finally have answers!

He sat with me a while and answered a lot of questions and explained things to me

Without having to add in loads of medical jargon

And that made me really happy!

I seriously feel like a weight has been lifted

And although it's not good news this has happened, I don't have the constant worry that it might be something more serious

I finally feel more 'me' and I'm really grateful

I just want to say, if you have a medical problem and don't feel like you're getting answers

Push for it!

It may be exhausting and emotional, but things can get better ♥

Catching up

Hi!

This year is flying by!

Last Friday we went to Brighton for my birthday

It was forecast thunderstorms, so we were a bit worried

But the weather was gorgeous!

We lay on the beach for ages and it was total bliss!

Dozing in the sun and hearing the waves crash onto the beach

A perfect day!

Here are some photos from the last week

This is a toy I was working on, but I didn't like how it turned out

So Sisco claimed it

I didn't take a pic, but my mum wrapped my pressies in Hello Kitty paper!

In Brighton we went for lunch at Wai Kika Moo Kau

I spotted jojo's cakes 

They had so many vegan cakes that looked so good!

But we were too full

We shared a peanut tofu wrap and a breakfast

Yum!

The wrap was so fresh and perfect for a hot day

I'd definitely get it again

And you can't go wrong with a breakfast!

I just wish they did scrambled tofu

Heaven!

The next day I got a surprise from my mum

She told me before as she was excited about it!

haha

Now this was a surprise!

I've been online buds with Becky for ages

I actually did my first craft swap with her

I call her the 'party planner queen' as she plans the most amazing themed parties!

I love the fact she goes all out

I saw her amazing bead creations and commented on her pic and she said she'd make me one

I decided to send her something in return

So I sent her one of my plush foxes 

A few days before my birthday a huge cardboard envelope arrived

I didn't have a clue what it was

This is what was in it!

The hearts and dollars are ice cube trays

Seriously!

Isn't this amazing??

I'm going to hang it above my desk

It's so pretty and dainty

The seller was really lovely and got my ring out fast as I wanted it for my birthday

It's been in my Etsy favourites for ages

I need to take a pic of mine as it's slightly different

But this is the one from the shop

I'm going to sound like a cheese ball, but it's totally magical!

Mine has a little bit more purple in it and it's so unique!

The rest of the weekend was just spent relaxing
It was a really lovely birthday and I'm already planning my next trip to Brighton

Oh well, you have to laugh

To say the last few weeks have been crap is an understatement

The never ending eye saga carries on

I went to the optician today and she wasn't much clearer

But apparently my eyesight has gotten worse (I have so many things wrong with my eyes, so my prescription is complicated)

haha

I just imagine you probably think I'm like this

But no

You can't actually see anything, my eyes look normal

She wants to make a drastic change to my prescription which I'm not too happy about

So I'm getting a second opinion

Funny thing is, the last few days I've seen a slight improvement

I miss being the cheery old me

And I miss blogging

Fingers and toes crossed

Oh god, sorry to go on

I may rename this blog 'My wonky eye'

Cat videos can help 'the blues'

And here are a few that improved my mood
