I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I love 99p shops!
One opened a short bus ride away from us and I love popping in to pick up a bargain
First time we went I spent ages pointing out things to Paul saying
"Seriously, do you know how much this is in Sainsburys? And it's only 99p!"
He wasn't as excited as me
I just love a bargain!
Yesterday I managed to drag him there and I saw these!
Tomato and Basil kits
And 99p each?!
We don't have a garden, but I have always wanted to grow my own tomatoes
As I've mentioned before, I would LOVE a big garden to grow my own veggies and fruits
When I was younger my mum grew some strawberries and tomatoes and they were the best I've ever tasted!
I have a bit of an addiction to tomatoes, I eat them every day
But unfortunately most shop bought tomatoes don't taste very good
So I am so excited to grow my own!
Although I don't have the best track record with keeping things alive I think I'm getting better
Remember the Pansy Paul bought me a while back?
It's still alive!
It's had 4 little flowers so far
So hopefully I will be munching on sweet tomatoes in the future!
If anyone has any tips I'd love to hear them
Wish me luck!
I LOVE the 99p store! Especially the ones that have the bags of Raspberry Ruffles, mmmmm, ruffles!ReplyDelete
Good Luck with your Gardening then I guess. xxReplyDelete
I love 99p shops too and my mum and I say exactly the same thing to each other. 'I'll get some of those because they're double the price in Tesco'. We end up with all sorts we don't need mind xReplyDelete
I love discount stores too. I think you will have so much fun with your garden! We just got done planting some seeds this weekend, and I'm hoping I'll have lots of lovely garden photos to show off before too long.ReplyDelete
I am allergic to tomatoes so I don't share your addiction... BUT I want to grow my own herbs and maybe some small fruits... possibly cucumbers as well. If you learn any tips on how to keep growing things alive (that aren't mammals... I keep those alive alright! haha) please post them for the rest of us "brown thumbs"!ReplyDelete
